Usage Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-04 · Effective: 2026-08-04

1. How to read this

This policy sets the rules for using EnactVoice. It is part of the Terms of Service. Because Modal runs on third-party AI infrastructure, vendor usage rules — including Anthropic’s Usage Policy — apply to conversation processing and flow through to your use. Where this policy is stricter, this policy wins.

2. Use it lawfully

Don’t use EnactVoice to plan, commit, or assist illegal activity — fraud, theft, trafficking, weapons development, attacks on infrastructure or computer systems, or violation of anyone’s privacy or IP rights. What is illegal where you are is illegal here.

3. Protect people

4. Respect the voice surface

Rules that exist because EnactVoice speaks:

5. No high-stakes reliance

Modal is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Don’t rely on it as the deciding input for medical, legal, financial, insurance, employment, or housing decisions — a qualified human must review any such decision. Never rely on it in an emergency: call your local emergency number (911 in the US).

6. Keep the platform honest

7. Safety

If a conversation signals danger to you or someone else, Modal is built to point to real help rather than substitute for it. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or 911 in an emergency. We may review flagged sessions for safety and abuse per the Privacy Policy.

8. Enforcement and appeals

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy, and remove content where required. If you believe we got it wrong, write to paul@enactskill.com with your account email — a person reviews appeals. Report abuse you encounter to the same address.

9. Changes

When we change this policy materially we update the date above and give notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date accepts the change.

Modal is in rest state.
